EVGA 560ti 448core... Whoop! There it is...

The better question would be, "is it worth it versus a GTX 570?" Based on the Anandtech review, I would say yes. If the GTX 570 wasn't what you wanted, then probably not.

This is a much better card than a regular 560 ti, isn't it a lot more expensive as well?

This card has the coolest name since 9800 gtx+

how is this compared to the 2gb 6950's with the bios switch?

Its a bit faster than a 6950 after you average out the various games. And is pretty much on par with a 6970. And looks to be identical to a 570.

For the price I think its pretty decent. You can get a 6950 for quite a bit less, but this is less than a 570 or 6970.

it's not a 560 / 560 ti chip, it's a 570 / 580 chip that wasn't quite good enough, so they gave it a trim and a confusing name. $290 is right on for performance per dollar, but any more than that would make no sense.

People seem to be getting good OC's with these boards though. Opt for the less "referency" designs (there isn't a reference design.) The EVGA classified looks like the one to get, or the MSI if you are feeling lucky with its big overclock from the start. The Gigabyte has a three fan cooler, but eh.

for a supposed gtx570 reject, the gtx560ti 448 overclocks way better than nearly any gtx570.

Considering its basically a downgraded version of GTX 570, I'm going to guess latest driver will work well enough until Nvidia updates it. I've just ordered the EVGA Classified one so I'll see how well it works (and OC) when I get it. I'll be mostly playing BF3 and Skyrim 😛
