Thanks OP, i was looking for a decent video card for my new build, anyone can comment on the quietness and power draw on the power supply? I'm throwing this in a little Antec Aria case, and am wondering if it will be okay in there!

Thanks,
J.

here is a link info on power and noise
info link
the power draw is less than 40W quite small compare to other cards
noise level is a bit high at peak 3D from 5cm distance but it also depends on manufacturer fan design

here is the link to the ads
ads link
it usually takes 1-2 days for the subscription to take effect

Thanks Techmars!!! It seems like it might be a little loud, but i can deal with it, i'm just glad it won't put too much of a draw on my little case!!! I'll post up again when i get it and install it!! =)

Would this sli with a MSi 7600gt? 80w sli is a dream come true. i'd finally have a reason to get a new board and turn my old backup machine into a pretty serious little gaming rig i can leave running 24/7, I'm so glad i never got around to selling my 7600, seeing as it is on par with an 8600 with less power draw.

Good deal. Only thing to watch out for, this model ends in -TX, which is NOT lifetime warranty.

Price dropped to $89.99. It's now $59.99 after $15.00 MIR & $15 code. At this price, I'm in for one.

Is this 7600GT the current sweet spot like 6600GT was a few years ago?

don't know how sweet was 6600GT but 7600GT at $59 and double performance of 6600GT is a good buy
can't said the same thing about 8600GT which still cost $50+ more than 7600GT

if you're coming from a 6600 you get twice as much performance and your power consumption actually goes down, how much sweeter can it get? My 7600 runs dirt @ 1680x1050 @ 20fps with 2x AA, everything set to medium and motion blur off, and the game is what, 3 weeks old? with SLi i could probably max it out.

8800GTS is a good card but pricy
7950GT is good too but don't know much about its performance
