Do you know if it's transferable to the next owner if you sell it?

Nope. Thats why a "lifetime" or 10 year is basically useless. I'd rather have a 3 year asus that is warrantied by the manufactured date regardless of the owner.

terrible.

you have to purchase between 5/1 and 6/30.

Why terrible ?

They are offering a incentive on a product line during a slow sales period. The K series has a lesser warranty allowing usually a slightly lower price. The retailer will probably have their sales also during the Summer months and informed buyers will know they can get the bonus of a 10 year warranty on the K- lineup.

Transferable warranty is something rare, in whatever form.
You often need the original invoice regardless in warranty claims. Something to add, ebay sales often change normal 'retail' warranties.

Xfx does warranty for first and second owner. Evga used to be pretty lax on warranty stuff, and BFG used to be awesome and didnt care, but they are out of business now. I guess thats cool if you happen to buy a card with a "KR" within the next few months? lol.
