Everytime there is a potted plant in my house, it does! WTH?

So, I think my house is a plant killer. I try to give them good sunlight near windows. I try to water them, but not water them too much... They still die rather quickly. What's the secret to growing them?
 
get a devil's vine or whatever they're called... those thing are indestructable
 
is the air in your house really dry? even if the plants get a lot of water and sunlight, if the air around them is really dry, they will have problems. how do they die? just dry up? or no new growth?

As for plants, some don't like bright light, some need to dry out completely between waterings, etc etc etc. Not all plants want the same things! Some plants are very easy to care for (Lucky Bamboo is practically kill proof) while other plants are extremely high maitenence (orchids are hell).

Next time you get a plant, find out what kind of a plant it is and then read up on it. Follow the care instructions for the species and you might just find you like indoor gardening.

My potted plant seems to feed on blood. It keeps saying Feed me Seymour. Anyone want to donate blood to feed him?
