everything i download is corrupted

its getting to the point where none of the torrents i download are working. after i download a file and try to mount it in alcohol or any other related program i get error messages ranging from "CRC error: cyclic redudancy check," to "unable to mount image: file os corrupt or missing."

is it something i am doing? do you think that maybe it is because torrents take so long to download?
 
what app are you using? torrent downloads, to my knowledge, use UDP intead of TCP and rely on higher level protocols to verufy the data. that could be the problem.
