Very weird - booted up my xp pro box and this started happening. I can boot into safe mode and everything works fine. I thought it might be a corrupted user account so I booted in safe mode and created a new account with admin privileges and rebooted logged into the new account and still broken. Using windows key + E I can kick off windows explorer and browse to any .exe but get the same error.

Never seen this before, anyone with some insight?

ps. I upgraded Comodo to the new version (3.0) that was released 2 days ago - only system change I have made recently.
