"Everything" alternative (desktop search)

I'm looking for something similar Everything to search both ntfs and ext4 drives on linux.

What I need is a desktop search tool that hasa simple gui, a search index and is just snappy and simple to use.
Also I like how everything uses a filter search system, like searching the media library in most music players instead of the conventional search style (google style)

You guys know about anything like this?
 
Beagle and Tracker are the two big ones that I can think of, although I haven't really used either since I generally keep my files organized on my own.
