I don't know if it's just the shirt or what. It's a express 1mx and I am trying as hard as I can, and it just looks like I am wearing inflatable arm bands in the swimming pool.

It feels like I am doing everything right but I can't get it!

Express 1MX Modern Fit Stretch Cotton.

Even the guy in the bluebird color looks kinda funky. I'm trying to go all the way up to the elbows properly. Not further than the elbow really, but enough to reveal.

Edit: Check out the guy in the green color. It looks kinda awkward/weird. Guy in dark gray/light black has the same issue. It's kinda weird looking. There's tons of them. They all have similar issues, but mine is a bit more pronounced than that even.

I was about to ask wtf you were talking about after I looked at the pictures from that site, but now I see.

The problem is you have scrawny arms so the folds look like they're big.

I still don't know what you're talking about in the other pics though, it looks fine to me. If you fold them up all the time, buy shirts with shorter sleeves.

Looks fine, you just have very skinny arms so you'll never look quite like the models (unless you hit the gym for a while).

Gimme a few minutes and I'll make a quick video, but the light is really low so it'll look like crap on a $50 camera.

OK I was gonna do a video but my noisey GF was drying her hair in the same room >< Hopefully you can follow my (very bad) photos.

Note that this has to be done while the shirt is off, so it'll take you a few goes before you perfect it, but it really does look better on skinny arms (see my twig arms in one of the pictures)

First lay out the sleeve.

Fold up the bottom by a couple of fingers - enough so that the sleeve, when folded, will fit snugly around your arm. Do it from the bottom so when you're finished, the crease will go up the inside/bottom of your arm to your armpit where it's not noticable.

This is the width you'll be using - about 3-4 fingers.

Put your hand inside the sleeve and with your thumb outside it, grip at the correct width around the new crease and "invert" it, like in the picture. The first one is the hardest - then just repeat until you're as the desired height, which is around 2-3 fingers above the elbow.

It'll look like this when finished - this is from the back of the shirt.

For comparison - the same shirt without using this technique.
