I had Airtouch/Verizon and they were great.

I actually have my old pager if you're looking for one. It's in great shape and it's alphanumeric.

It's the Motorola Advisor Elite if you want to look it up.

Pagers? That's so 1990's. I'd bet you can get a cheap cell phone plan with text messaging for the same price per month.

We have huge pagers that look like frickin laptops, they are used to dispatch our calls to us. (patient address, cross streets, map codes, injury type, blah, blah, blah)
