I am running my new Tbird 700 @ default clock and voltage. My ambient temp is 82 degrees F/28 degrees C in a highly-modded Addtronics 7896A. Under load, my temperatures are 33 degrees C/92 degrees F. I have a Tbird 700@700, with a VOS32 and dual YS-tech fans at 4500 RPM a piece, with Artic Silver on the processor contact. Now I realize that everyone talks about Socket A Tbirds, but the temps for that will invariably be different than Slot A ones because the heatsinks have far more surface area and fan blowage on the Slot As.

First of all, are these temperatures normal?
I am pulling the temperatures from MBM 4.18 - Winbond 2. Where is this teperature being recoreded from? They seem a bit low, even with all the cooling.

Gonna ramp up the clock speed this weekend - it's guaranteed 900.

Joker,
What week is your slot A 700? I heard that most slot A 700's have 700 cores. I have a week 22 and I am fairly sure it is a 700 core because I had to raise the voltage on it to 1.85 in the bios to get it to run at 800mhz. I have a week 22. I am also overclocking strictly by FSB, so that may have something to do with why my chip won't overclock easily.
