Everyone struggles with gifts for people "who have everything"

My parents are in that category.

This year we are getting them a whole bunch of different exotic foods that we know they will enjoy but would never buy for themselves. (i.e. Macadamia nuts from Hawaii, mangos, etc.)

Remote controlled vibrator or the one that goes off when people ring...pretty sure they won't have that. Well if they do then get the nosehair clipper 😛

I've found that anyone who is in that category *really* don't want material gifts.

They'd rather just get a card, or spend some time with you....

6in1 Utilikey

its cheap and handy. Im getting my dad one for christmas I think; he usually carries a pocket knife with him but *ALWAYS* has his keys. I was going to get him a Leatherman Micra but I realized he already keeps *alot* of stuff in his pockets, and while small and handy with scissors, screwdrivers and a knife is something he probably wouldnt keep on him because of the bulk.

So, I figured, I could get him the key which he wouldnt notice as any extra bulk, and would still give him a small screwdriver and a small knife (2 things that, somehow for him, come in handy pretty often) that he would get some use out of.

For someone who doesn't have so much junk in their pockets, the micra is great to have. I got one from my brother-in-law as a groomsmans gift and love it; and its cheap. $20 retail, and if you don't mind ebay you can get them for half that shipped.

Im also planning on getting my mother a USB flexible light

*note: Im using think geek as a reference because I can remember it easily*

ebay and various online merchants will have this for far less. It's something she doesn't have, wouldn't think of looking for, but could get some use out of when traveling or whatever.
