and that they're oversized and useless, bla bla bla... oversized minivans.... bla bla bla... "i would never buy one".... bla bla bla... but my dad's got one, and we took it out w/ some other h2 owners, and gad dayum, it was fun... here are some pics... yes, they may be large, more often than not useless oversized minivans, but who the f cares... if it's ur car, it's ur car 🙂

here r some pics, and 3 videos....

not everything's uploaded yet... but they're on their way

oh, and after the meet (i rode in my rx7, my dad drove the hummer, and yes, he gets 11 mpg, and i get 17) we left separately, and i caught the tail-end of a nsx cruise... there were a grip of them... sweet lookin' cars... makes me think back about the rx7 cruise we had not too long ago more pics.

i've been in real hummers. those are tough vehicles, but not meant for comfort. why would you wanna buy something like that. and the h2 is a plastic pos.

edit - real means army

skoorb - not really... it was just to be one of those things to which i say "but i don't really care" 😛

tallbill - i've been in the real hummers too, and yes, they're tougher and can take more sh!t, but the h2 is still one of the stronger suv's on the market... i wouldn't exactly label it as a plastic pos

Well, at least you have a place to drive them.

I live in a very flat, sea level part of suburbia and there are no mountains or even hills to speak of for miles around. People around here only drive them for status, and that's just annoying.

Yea... Im confused about your post slikmunks. Sure everyone is entitled to use their car however they want, but how does your post say h2's aren't a "huge, wasteful gas guzzler and that they're oversized and useless... etc"??? 😕

Edit saw your post to answer Skoorb whatever hehe 🙂

so the fact that the cabin is relatively intact after a really large impact and the fact that the crumple zone did its job makes it a plastic pos.... that's right...

by that reasoning, the pics of that lambo from a while back that got completely mangled would render lambos to plastic pos's... right........

lol, but yer still calling it an suv. A real hummer aint no suv. 😛 Then again, a .50 cal on top helps that theory too.

How cute: a bunch of rich people attempting to "off road" on a carefully planned out "off road" course, complete w/bulldozer to pull them out of the woods WHEN the get in trouble b/c they are so used to driving the Family Van and have no idea how drive a 4WD vehicle.

Oops...there I go thinking out loud again.

Half those pics are of about $500K worth of H2s sitting there. How quaint.

canyon run, not too bright of a driver, 140+mph over a hill into an unbanked turn on a windy day, tail end lifts, tail end slides out, sets down, rolls backwards, hits the lip of a ditch, flipped over long-ways. driver walked out without a scratch. ego hurt like hell tho

Comparing a Hummer to a Lamborghini is silly.

Anyway, the truck that it appears to have run into doesn't look as bad a shape as the hummer and it's a lot smaller.

is it silly to compare the two because the guy used a pwn3d pic of a hummer to validate that it's a pos and i'm posting a pic of a lambo that was pwn3d itself to compare and say that both aren't pos's? or do i just say that lambos are uncomparable because they're so much more expensive and untouchable?

You're right; I don't have that kind of money.

But your thread here is to boast about what an awesome capable off road vehicle the H2 is. True: it is very capable (it's not the shiznitz though)

My point is that 99% of those that buy one have no idea how to pilot it correctly. Fully ALL the H2s I've seen on the road are piloted by soccer moms or Executive types.
