'Friends' Stars Call On Famous Sitcom Friends for Help
The Friends cast have turned to the sitcom superstars of the past to get tips on coping once the series ends next year. The show will finish after 10 years, and the castmates are beginning to worry about life after Friends - so they've called on veterans Mary Tyler Moore and Danny DeVito for help. Jennifer Aniston reveals, "Matthew Perry got to meet Mary Tyler Moore when she was doing a play in New York, and he asked how she coped when The Mary Tyler Moore Show ended. She said that she still hasn't gotten over it! It was the same with Danny DeVito, who just did our show. He said that there's not a day where he doesn't still think about Taxi. You get the impression it's gonna be really tough. It's just that family, that thing that is unlike anything else." Aniston plans to take a two-month long vacation immediately after taping the final episode later this week, and she hopes to deal with her emotions then.

Awwwwww. Dealing with emotions. You mean, dealing with the fact in can't phone-in an episode and collect $1 million any more.

Yep my heart hurts for them too😀

/holding back tears
/must keep head up for "Friends"

God forbid any of these people ever have a REAL problem.

Yes, they are rich, but they are also young and have so much of their lives left to live. The cast was perfect together, and that's what they've done for the past 10 years. It would be difficult to spend 10 years together and just leave... the unemployment thing too.

Hmmm.....young, beautiful, millions in the bank....and UNEMPLOYED!!! OOHH NOOOOOOOOO!

$hit, I wish I had their problems. I only wish I had enough $$ in the bank to support my lavish lifestyle for the rest of my life, without me ever having to work again.

Cry me a river for the 'friends'.

No one on the cast of Friends asked anyone here to feel sorry for them.
They've been doing something together for ten years and it will probably be tough for them to lose those friendships. Ever been at a job that you actually liked and had many friends at. And then left? Yeah, that sucks. Because the one thing that you had bonding you together is gone. Sure, you can be and should be friends afterward but it's not always going to be the same. People move on and things change.

Wow. Multi-millionaires need emotional support.

Yes, because they're rich, they don't develop attachments to the people and work they've done over the last ten years. Rich people are all robots, actually.

Say you're at a job you absolutely love, everyone there is great, plus you love what you're doing. No annoying coworkers or asshole bosses, everyone there is cool and has lots in common with you. You hang out with your best friends, your coworkers, every weekend. They're like your brothers/sisters. You spend 10 years of your life working there. Then, wham, the downsizing monster rears its ugly head, and your job is gone. Sorry buddy, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.

Do you need emotional support to "cope with the loss?" I would assume not. This happens all the time to "nobodies" who don't need "support".
So why should the 'Friends' situation be any different? Because they're high-profile? Rich? Famous? Popular? I would say, suck it up. It's not like with the cancellation of the show they were all presented with restraining orders from each other. They can see each other whenever they want - probably more so, in fact, than regular people in a similar situation, due to the fact they don't need to work to obtain money to live off of.
