is your receiver the type where it goes from -xx dB to 0dB, 0dB being the loudest volume.. because if its like mine, DAMN thats loud son. i love my speakers but my receiver can't pump out clean audio at that volume, so it sounds distorted. but its the receiver and not the speakers.
