if you trust sum1 on this forum to fix ur problems...i found a gr8 program

its called access remote pc 3.7...download off ZDNET only 900kb

all u need is the persons IP address and his permission and then just by entering the user pass that u set up and the IP of the other computer u can remotely access his desktop and evertyhing...and u can restrict access to certain folders OR restrict delete access so there is nothing major to worry about

i think this is a great idea especially for problems where people say oh i wish i could see the problem to get a better idea of how to fix it--- well here is the solution!

lol im not trying to sell this program i dont work for it or anything i just was lookin for a way to help out my grandma in florida and found this program and HOLY CR@P i was amazed by how awesome it is AND it comes with 30 free uses

have fun with this raw amazing tip

maybe but just uninstall it when ur done then he cant get back in and make sure he cant delete everything

unless ur talkin bout a strait up hacker who then has ur ip then i guess ur kinda screwed

Thing is, to get the computer booted, and connected to the Internet, it has to be working fairly well to begin with. Just having it POST fully is a sign that the hardware is functioning at least close to normally. Then maybe you can start to narrow it down to a driver or other software issue, like maybe many different kinds of spyware all trying to execute at startup, which crashes the system.

I think windows xp has a similar feature. Start/programs/accessories/communications/remote desktop connection.

I would have said that if you didn't. Terminal Services (Remote Desktop) has been around for a while. I would much rather trust a built in OS function that this download. Remote Desktop is the XP built-in incarnation of Terminal Services. Great program for remoate administration of machines (especially servers. Windows Server 2003 can be managed all from my workstation without having to get up even for reboots).
