.... he proves otherwise:

And Paul? There was never any hope for him:

Forget their supposed morality because they never had any. From a standpoint of pure political calculus, however, they're probably wrong. It's more like if they don't do what is necessary to make Trump as politically irrelevant as possible, that's what will destroy their party.

Destroy the party?
The party is already destroyed. Hell they didn't even bother with a platform last year..
These assholes are only concerned about having to restructure their campaigns in the face of the new qanon epidemic running through their districts.

The message is quite clear. Actually screams, the fate of the Republican party is more important than the fate of American democracy.

Graham was on TV today blaming Pelosi for the lack of security at the Capitol. The guy is a literal piece of filth. Let's start calling people what they are.

With the #1 shit stain about to leave the stage, there is some stiff competition to be the next national shit stain. Right now it is too close to call between Leningrad Lindsey, and Tiananmen Ted, with Moscow Mitch and a huge pack nipping at their heels.

Graham is a basic bitch sociopath. He’s happy to put on any mask that conceals his fetid husk.

You take that back, or he will give you SUCH a pinch!

Disqualification for future political office is SPECIFICALLY set forth in the Constitution upon conviction of impeachment. Do the GOP have a different Constitution? That could explain a lot.

When you're in so deep you have no choice but to keep digging.

That sounds a lot like what will happen centuries from now when archeologists will find the ruins of the GOP headquarters and start digging into what was determined to be calcified bullshit found under the main structure and after digging down to a depth of 300 meters they gave up the dig and by peer reviewed consensus determined that the sheer breadth and depth of the bullshit was the direct cause of the GOP's extinction.

Same GOP that tells us we should execute people so that victims have closure are now telling us that for closure happen, Trump can't even be impeached, much less prosecuted.
