every thread you post in you're automatically subscribed to?

Go to User CP > Edit Options
Find Default Thread Subscription Mode - Select Do Not Subscribe
 
Will an admin please set this feature globally to not allow users to subscribe to threads automatically when they first register and start posting for the first time? I think it's set to work this way by default.
