The demo was so good, I bought it, though a little hesitant because of the DRM. But I haven't started to play it yet.Originally posted by: CrystalBay
Are you playing Bioshock VIAN, regardless ?
Those days of UT2K4 working on hundreds of machines are gone . They are just trying to cut their losses to five machines.

Thos were the days... when you didn't have to worry about the number of machines you could install some POS software. Lending it to friends was a way of networking. But now, it seems like they want us all to sit in a cubicle and only talk to each other online. Not sharing sucks, it takes some fun out of gaming.

Since when has sharing games been legal? I didn't get into PC gaming until the early or mid 90s but you were never allowed to have the game installed on more than 1 PC as far as I can remember.

Plays like any other FPS IMO... many of the enemies move around like they are on roller skates to boot. terrible animation and blurry frames.Originally posted by: Bateluer
Damn glad I didn't buy Bioshock, dang shame too. There was a lot of hype around the game and they stabbed themselves in the back.

Since always??? You would uninstall the game, give it to your friend he would install it and enjoy it when you were done with it. We did it all the time. Just like a book, or a movie. Heck, I still do that with a guy at work with a few games that we both enjoy. But, with the coming games like BioShock, that is not really a possibility anymore.

you didn't say that in your original post.
that should be perfectly fine. I don't see how you can't do that with Bioshock though?
No, not as of yet anyway.Doesn't the uninstall process free up the key to be used again at a later time or on another PC?
That's pretty much why I waited until I could crack the game to play it. It's a pretty sad day when you refuse to play a game until you can crack it and not just out of convenience (like the use of No-CD cracks).
