To be consistent, they shouldn't have called them "first baseperson," "second baseperson" or "third baseperson." The names could be misconstrued to imply a hierarchy.

Seriously though - the political correctness nazis are bad, but the people who get up in arms about it and exaggerate it are just as bad.

Well, I'd think they'd have trouble with the term "unit". :p

And two of the outfielders were called Democratic fielder and Republican fielder, but I'm not sure about center. Maybe Moderate fielder?
