So much so that Kevin's going to use the power of congress to gaslight the nation.

A vanishing breed of Republicans may deny the Kevin/Trump attempt. So many rats.

There probably isn't a deal, McCarthy is just such a pathetic loser that he's bending over to try and curry favor with Turmp hoping it'll benefit him since he's already fucked up every other avenue for allies.

death panels they screeched! while having implemeted them a long time ago.....

While that article infuriated me, I can honestly say it did not shock me in the least. My family has had UHC for the past 15+ years and we've had lots of medical issues in that time. UHC fights us every step of the way. My son just had corrective surgery for broken rods in his spinal fusion. UHC fought against the surgery... he had BROKEN RODS in his back.

But that's the Muricun way, ask any republican, and they will crow about how great it is to have to beg for health care when you have insurance... Murica

I got sick and tired of trying to get my HMO (Kaiser Permanente) to right the ship with one my doctors. The doc didn't verify an online appointment I had with her which meant I couldn't message her in advance of an in person appointment. I tried everything, finally gave up and figured she must be incompetent and cancelled the appointment. I had other issues with them and gave up as well. They have grievance methodologies but my experience is that they don't work. They stonewall you, nothing happens and you are left in limbo. I met a guy who's with them and says he has an advocate system in dealing with them. He has lawyers, others. Myself, I have nothing like that. It's just me. My strategy is to try to stay healthy. I do well, but things come up.

I have socialized medicine, a.k.a. Medicare, with a supplemental policy, and I never have to ask permission for any test or procedure. Doc says I need it, and it's just scheduled.

Wife has an advantage plan, as it is provided as part of her retirement from the state. She got a letter the other day that they "approved" a CAT scan her doc required... about a month after she had the CAT scan.

Mad props once more to KMFJD for nailing the right wing with this thread's title!

And, here we go again: Hannity in defense of Trump and his spawn. To say this blubbering blockhead lacks self-awareness is a world class understatement, to wit:

"Hannity: How would you feel if they started combing through every aspect of your life in search of a crime and then dragged your children into it simply because they don’t like you or your politics?"

Ha, and then as if to illustrate the irony, they then show Biden on the side of the screen.

I guess this qualifies for this thread

In evidence an investigator found “compelling, nuanced and plausible”, Bone, the MP for Wellingborough since 2005, was found, as part of a “wilful pattern of bullying”, to have struck a young staff member, ridiculed him, ostracised him, demanded massages and indecently exposed himself on a foreign fact-finding trip.

Devout Christian opponent of gay marriage and abortion. And now possibly - depending how the rules play out - the source of the next by-election humiliation for Sunak.

(In my version of the world he is the father of Ian Bone, in much the same way Iris Murdoch had a weird marriage with Rupert Murdoch and that Bamber Gascoigne was Paul Gascoigne's dad, dissapointed at his son's non-academic direction in life)
