yeah that looks like a good deal, i just got my sata 80gb western digital for $55 from newegg today

they are refurbished, good price thought anyone had expirence with refurbished harddrives?

refurb and maxtor, that doesn't sound good. i have had nothing but bad luck with new maxtors.

Bwhahahah... on a maxtor. No way would I touch that. I'm expecting my refurb (replacement after orig. started to die) 160gb IDE to die soon. Probably 2 days after warranty officially runs out. Seriously though, for $85-95 you could buy a brand new WD or Seagate 160gb sata drive with a 3 year or 5 year warranty. The twenty bucks extra is worth it.

refurbs are a total nightmare I process about 20 RMA claims a day on refurb hard drives at work.
