Hi all,
I'm using Everest Ult 5.00 and CoreTemp 99.3 and they are showing different temps for my Q6600 cores.
EG.
Everest Core #1 63 Core #2 63
CoreTemp Core #0 73 Core #1 73
The temp just changes in everest so 73 might not be accurate but you get the idea
Now
Everest Core #1 63 Core #2 50
CoreTemp Core #0 74 Core #1 74
Which one to believe?
Also my SPP temp goes from 68c - 73c is this something to worried about?
(did want to start another thread for this but i will if required)
Mobo: Striker Extreme
EDIT: also the vcore is different everest 1.42 CT: 1.262 vcore set in bios 1.49
I can stop testing atm so i can't check what bios reports.
Also TJM is 100c in coretemp if it helps
EDIT 2: PCProbe shows Cpu at the same temp as Everest
RealTemp show Cpu / cores at near same temps as CoreTemp
PROBLEM SOLVED:
It seems i found my own answer, it all has to do with the tjmax each program is using everest is using 90c and others 100c. So I'm just going to read up on this stuff and set it to something.
