This is really a question reguarding the pop culture surrounding EQ@, not the software itself, so i posted it here.

wow, what a suprise 😉

no saying 'wrong forum' any more?

Seems to me he explains clearly why it's OT material..if you bothered to read his OP 😉

Wake up and smell the chloroform. I haven't said "wrong forum" in AGES. I've been posting links since, like, the beginning of time.

EQ was the most amazing computer game I haev ever played.
I think part of that was the fact that MMORPG were new, so it is possible even the best of the new games will new exceed the intensity and excitement of the first EQ.
What are your thoughts on EQ2?

EQ2 rocks if you enjoy grouping. If you enjoy the solo experience I would play WoW.

Although, EQ2 is still a much better game. The graphics are far superior and so is the gameplay. IT is much much much more in depth.

To me, WoW is an MMORPG trainer. IT's too danm easy. I got to level 30 in one week the first time I played it. I was able to shorten that time to about 3 days once I got to know where to go and what not (I rerolled my mage for a rogue).
