Everquest is tempting me

I thought I had left the CDs at my parents' house.. but they are right here. I don't think I can resist.

Microwave them.

4 seconds & they'll never tempt you again.

Everquest sucks ass.

The people that play it and let it control their lives need to be taken out back and beaten back to reality.

The catch is I never get that much into it. The highest level I've been is something like 39. I lose interest quickly. That's why it's so tempting to just play for a few weeks.

Same here...I can confirm I've been 5 months without SC....Very tempted to buy it again 10 bucks at BB.

I gave in. I installed EQ. But the CD key that I wrote on the disc with a Sharpie permanent marker has partially rubbed off!

Bummer... Guess that takes away the temptation.

while that might be a bit extreme...I could never get into these type of computer games...I need something I can sit down for 15 minutes and play a game...I don't have the kind of time that is necessary.

Play it!

When I've got a couple hours to kill (not often) I'll log in to EQ for a bit. When I want to sit down and jump right in to the meat of something, I have CS. works great 🙂 Half the time, when I go to play EQ, if I don't get in a good group within 30-40 min I log out. Overall, 3 out of 4 times that I do log in to play it's for a Guild Raid. And there are only 5-6 of those a month! Heh, has taken me a LOOONG time to hit 50 with my Pally....

Don't play it. Online games are far too addictive.

Although I got $500 for selling my Ultima Online account a few years ago on Ebay.

lol, 5 months is way good... im going on 2 weeks 😛

Man, i made over $6k USD selling all my items from 3 months of playing EQ. Some guy is offering $700 for my enchanter, but i'm sure i can get $1k for it. Thanks to EQ, i have a new 18" Dell LCD screen, Herman Miller Aeron Chair, 24" Sony GDM-FW900 monitor, Ipaq 1910, and senseless amount of shopping and drinking. I play the game on and off... normally once every year or so for a couple of months. Always end up selling my accounts, but this last time has been the most profitable.

Does a cd just shrivel up when put in the microwave? Also are there any hazards? (Like putting aluminum in a microwave is known to be dangerous)

at least they're not prosecuting people selling accounts (or deleting the accounts...)... i could make so much money on daoc...

Eh? It's actually easier to sell DAOC stuff than EQ stuff. EQ really does hunt down people who try to sell, DAOC doesn't care. I've ebayed DAOC stuff... try ebaying stuff with EQ.

did you hide all your account info? cuz if they see it they'll delete they say. of course, they don't have enough people to finish alchemy, so how would they have enough people to track ebay?
