Everquest 2

So, does anyone here play Everquest 2? Specifically, on the Everfrost server?
I have three characters on that server, and am always looking for more grouping friends or guildmembers.

EQ2 is a good MMO, easily one of the best still out there. There's no rootkits or spyware in EQ2, pay those people no heed.

I used to play on the Lucian D'Lere RP server, had a 54 Monk, 24 Dirge, 22 Warden, and a few level 10 characters. I had to stop playing in order to make sure I would focus on my college classes. They also started making some changes to make the game more link WoW, which pissed me off. I hated how they've pretty much destroyed the crafting system, it used to be very robust. Granted, I haven't been flowing the updates for the last month or so.

You can ignore those who bash Eq2, it's still a pretty good game with a heck of a lot more content than some other games out there.

I play on Antonia Bayle myself, I mostly play a low 40s warlock now although I do have a 70 conjuror I take out at times.

Sony only owned half of SonyBMG at the time of the rootkit issue, now Vivendi owns BMG due to the EU. SOE is NOT SonyBMG and SOE does NOT put spyware into their software.

I and a friend just started EQ2 about a month ago. I've got a level 28 wizzy and a 20 pally on Antonia Bayle. Aparently someone didn't like my usual character names and reported me (assmunches).

Look up Zeen, Zigguratt or Tranceparent sometime.

Antonia Bayle is an RP server. Character names have to be kept in relatively strict guidelines, as they should be on an RP server. If you don't like it, there are plenty of nonRP servers to play on. 🙂
