I would like to get an idea of the performance of the different screencards in this game. Please post your framerate and your system specs if you could be so kind.

Or if someone can give me a link to where I could find a review site that benchmarked this game, that would be great.

Thanks

... I've never noticed a command to show Fps in Eq2... but hell, the graphics are so high end you can get a GT6800 Ultra down to 5-10 Fps if you stick everything at the highest with AA on.

I'll estimate mine, 30fps, 9700 mobility.
15fps-20fps Radeon 9250

Well I don't know how to show the fps, but I know it didn't get below 20 on everything totally high with AA on. But I have an x850XT PE.

An FPS number means nothing if you don't know the settings & reso they're running at.

In this case, Gurck is right. EQ2 has so many visual settings to fine tune its difficult to gauge how a given system performs.

My P4 3.4E, 6800 GT, and 1GB of DDR400 perform rather well. I run with terrain textures on high, max'd everything relating to high detail character models/textures, and turned everything else between 75% and 95% of max. My frames probably drop below 10 in city zones, especially when there are many characters on screen at the same time. However, when out in the non city zones, the game runs smooth as butter, a 30fps average at least.

I play on HIGH QUALITY and get 40-60fps in most areas except cities, where it drops to about 20-30fps.

Oh, and i play at 1920x1200. No AA, because on a 17" widescreen notebook, it doesn't need it.
