Everquest 2 Buddy key?

Grr I bought Everquest 2 and got a buddy key with it, but stupid me I typed it in instead of my account key. I didn't know Direct2Drive emailed me the actual key and displayed the buddy.

So I need a buddy key to convince my friend to play EQ2 with me.
 
Can't, I used the buddy key on my account and then learned that it was the buddy key I used not the regular.

I can't give him that account because it has all of my other accounts. When you register a game with Sony you have one account that houses everything, you EQ 1, my old SWG account, Vanguard account, etc. they are all the same one. Its the whole point of "station access" where you can pay $30 a month and have access to all of their games.
