I see two other ports that I can't identify; I think one might be for an external WiFi antenna.

I don't see myself getting one at $499, but if it drops to $349/$299 I see it doing quite well.
 
I think to be compatible with Mac it should come with Vista Home Premium standard. With options of Linux and Vista Ultimate.
 
it doesnt look too bad. besides, its so small you could just hide it somewhere where its not too visible
