I just got this fan and put it in my case at 5V. Its so quiet that I have to put my ear right up to the intake where the fan is to hear it. The sound is a deep hum. From 12" its inaudible. There is no bearing or motor noise that I can hear. It still pushes a pretty good amount of air. Definately more than the 80mm panaflo L1A at 12V that I had there before.
It comes wired with a 3-pin connector. Also included is a 4-pin pass through with a 3-pin female connector. So I switched the wires around in the 4-pin pass through to run the fan at 5V. I haven't switched the wires again to try it at 7V yet.
Edit: I got in on sale for $9.99 at Xoxide. I ordered it Friday and got it Monday with their standard shipping- which was suprising because we are on opposite sides of the country. It was my first time with this vendor and they did great.

Sounds good :) This might just tilt the scales for me! The folks at SPCR are raving about this fan!

Nice. I wonder if it's worth swapping out the stock Sonata fans for?

Quiet is good!

Wouldn't be worth swapping for me - mine are dead silent.

Glad to hear there's more options. Plus the aluminum ones look cool ;)

How does that compare against a 80mm L1A Panaflo?

Of all the 80mm fans I've tried, the panaflo L1A is by far the best. I havn't tried that 80mm evercool.
Edit: if you plan on undervolting that fan it would be very quiet if it uses the same type of motor and bearings as the 120mm aluminum model.
