Really? I thought methanol would make you puke. Maybe they added someting else to the ethanol. Or maybe my chem teacher in HS was lying so we would not steal his ethanol. That is a possiblity.

In the lower concentration ehtanol mixtures.. there is a small amount of methanol. Its there to prevent people from drinking it.
