Evercase 4252 / K7S5A Power led?

I have a new K7S5a in an Evercase 4252. The power LED connector on the Evercase is a 3 pin connector - wire, space, wire. The Power LED plug on the K7S5A is a 2 pin connector...

What am I supposed to do here?? This seems weird.

Slip a small paper clip or a needle into the side of the connector that has an opening, push down with the clip/needle while pulling the wires out.

Hook up the wires individually to the pins and leave it that way, or note the proper orientation and plug them back into the connector as space, wire, wire. You can then plug the connector in with the space-side hanging off the side.
