Kinda. I'm not supposed to have outside contact with my coworkers and I cannot contact them except when there is an incident during normal business's operation. I can't discuss policy and procedures, but it has more to do with avoiding criminal exploitation of our policies and procedures than protecting corporate secrets.

Generally no, but if I tell most people about my job it's way over their head. I just tell people "I make sure the phones keep working" if I really need to dumb it down. :biggrin: I work at a NOC.

There has been some projects I can't talk about though and I have access to tons of information that I obviously can't share as well.
