I really don't like eating soft-serve dairy products out of any machine of which I have not seen the inside of the plumbing. You have to trust the people that keep them clean to be extremely diligent and careful.

Don't think about the sort of critters that could be grooving (and multiplying!) happily inside a poorly cleaned machine and you'll be just fine!

Yeah....but I recently went to McDonald's after promising a cone to my kids to have them tell me no ice cream....so we don't go there anymore. McDonald's is already suffering enough from people not wanting to eat that junk. From here on out, we'll likely pay a little more for Sonic or DQ. It's not worth the hassle.

Because the McD's franchise have to buy that equipment, and the mfg makes 25% of their revenue from service calls, which bill @ $315 for each addl. 15 minutes. (And neither McD's nor Taylor, want to do anything about it, McD's customer experience be damned.)
