I'm like 10 minutes away from their edison, nj warehouse, totally bites having to wait 3 days for shipping :(

I decided to upgrade my video card last week (and the VC upgrade required a new PSU since my old one was only 430w and had no pci power connections)... bought the video card from newegg and the power supply from amazon on the same day (wednesday).

amazon shipped my PSU from Nevada wednesday night and it was at my house on friday. newegg didn't even ship my video card till friday afternoon from their NJ warehouse and it won't be at my house till monday-tuesday /qq

Yeah, a pick-up option would be nice. I live reasonably close to the Edison warehouse too and it would be awesome if I could just go pick stuff up. I waited an entire week once for a friggin' USB drive. :(

Sales Tax....bluck

...but if the price was the same with sales tax then that would be cool.

Nope. Wouldn't do any good since they aren't located even remotely close to me.

No. I usually get stuff the next day if it comes from their NJ warehouse. If it takes 3 days it probably didn't come from NJ.

I use mwave since they have will call. I posted something once about the egg having will call and a rep from there posted back, I don't remember what they said.

I would if they had a pick-up option, but only if they were located across the river so I didn't get hit with sales tax

If you had to wait 3 days for something, it probably didn't ship from the Edison warehouse for you. I'm sure they ship from the closest point to you whenever possible, but they don't necessarily stock everything in each warehouse. I've had orders ship in 3 parts, one from each location, before.

If it shipped from Edison, transit time should be 1 day.

Oh sure, they could open their doors for pick-up, AND, doa's, rma's, opened, and damaged items, then we would have a new catch phrase to replace that over used one from so long ago,---"Going Postal".
Dude! you don't have to go all Newegg on me.

Nope, I don't use Newegg anymore. They opened a facility here in TN and they are now generally more expensive than places like Amazon or ZipZoomFly due to their tax and shipping cost.
