It is about a private detective that has hypertrophy of the olfactory bulb because of using a lot of a particular anti allergy medicin. This gives him a unique sense of smell that he uses to find the perpetrators in the episodes.
It is a fun series to watch and without a doubt the actresses are mesmerizing. They must have casted models only...

As a side note, i watched Breaking Bad and Blow a long time ago and i get since then at least once every 2 months a notice from netflix that there is show that i might like about..........
Pablo Escobar or something related to Pablo Escobar. Why is this ?
I want science fiction. Until it is revealed that he is from Vulcan for example i have no interest.

You're probably getting recommendations to watch Narcos, and it's because Narcos is essentially a dramatic crime thriller (with ties to truth). It is very well shot and cuts scenes of actual non-fiction footage with the story-told version.

As far as shooting with models only, which is really the only thing interesting to me of your post (I really dislike the detective shows similar to this), I'd say it's very common for eastern european shows. I've also seen it in the CW superhero shows, which only seem to cast really beautiful women but often attached to glasses, nerdy jobs, etc and then "pretty-fying" them up for certain scenes/episodes so everyone goes "wow I had no idea you were beautiful". Super annoying.

Anyways - I have no interest in watching something only in Russian and which I have to read subs. A movie, maybe, an entire show, no thanks.

Narcos as well yes, another show that came recommended and which does not interest me.
I guess the "war on drugs" must be shown to be good no matter what means necessary.

With respect to the models in the show, after watching 5 episodes, there are some characters that look amazing like models. Others are more realistic in the sense that one would see them in every day life. But i know what you mean when sifting through all shows on netflix, allthough the young woman from Killjoy (Hannah John Kamen) is a real treat to watch and to see her pull mean faces, she can really act. It is an easy viewing show as well.
I do not mind watching a show with spoken Russian language or any other language for that matter. It is just that i have to really use my headphones to properly hear the syllables to have a feeling that i am starting to get a grasp of the language. I watched before a French show and a Norwegian show, no problem for me.

Narcos does not paint a pretty picture of the War on Drugs. Far from it. Also, it is most excellent. The guy that plays Escobar is phenomenal.

Actually it is not. Sherlock from Elementary has a phenomenal memory, this guy relies more on his nose but does not know odd facts Sherlock would know.
Sherlock however would not be able to smell as this guy does and also does not have a memory for such smells.

I know because Elementary is my favorite show from netflix since i have netflix.
I am waiting in agony for the other seasons. And i probably would watch all the episodes again from current available seasons.

I tried it before, it just is not my thing. ( I mean the show)...
Unless i get a truck load of the uncut stuff for free. :D
