Believe it or not, we did not find any interesting mnemonics for ***-****. Everything is working fine, this is not a bug. Some numbers just have such odd combinations of letters and/or too many zeroes and ones that they simply do not have good mnemonics. Sorry. Perhaps you might like to try again with the number 568-3569 for an example of how the system works.

That is a cool site. My number is "it's xx, oy!" (xx=my initials) which is how all my friends remember my number.

One time a friend was at a company filling out a job application and had to put down phone numbers of his references. He had to ask the person if he could look at her phone so he could convert my phone number into digits. He knew he wasn't going to get the job after that, and he didn't.

I've got dozens of responces for home. And about 10 for my school (I'm a grad student). The best is my school number. It is "Grad Ed X" where X is my last digit that I choose not to display. I can't think of anything better than "grad education" for a grad student's office! There is also "graded X" and "grade 3X" that may be useful if I grade class papers again.
