Ever Used This??

I was browsing through www.frozencpu.com section of unlocking kits and I came across this Speed Strip - SSA-1. It says that you put it on in under a minute and you can unlock your AthlonXP CPU. I was wondering if anyone has used this with any success? Also if it does work how come I haven't heard of it? Thanks...

I saw a review of it when it came out. It causes your cpu to be mounted crooked as one side of the chip will be slightly jacked up above the socket.

Heh that looks terrible. Prolly cause the heat sink to lose surface area on the chip and thus lose heat conductivity.
