Ever used a debt help program thing?

I filled out some survey looking for a debt consolidator and got a call from someone at 123bedebtfree.com it apparently looks "promising" but it sounded like a scam, and its a non-profit organization but the guy sounded sketchy so i'm not sure...

did it once, do not recommend it.

it will still screw up your credit, you're better off doing bankruptcy if you're really in trouble.

Just because they are nonprofits does not mean they are not scams. The shady ones replace the fees with manditory "donations".

not in trouble, just wish i had lower interest rates.
