Ever use a countertop dishwasher?

I've been thinking about buying one for my apartment... we're not going to be living here long enough for it to be worth buying a real dishwasher (not to mention there isn't much room for one in the first place), but if the countertop dishwashers can clean a dish comparable to an average standard dishwasher, it'd be a great appliance to have around.
 
My friends had one and liked it.

My opinion is that they take up too much space for the small amount of dishes that they hold.
 
looks like it would be good to have if you dont have a normal dishwasher. It would probally take up alot of counter space though and if you dont have room for a real dishwasher you probally dont have much counter space to sacrafice for one of these.
