ever try white hotdogs?

im from Rochester NY, we have brand of hotdogs called Zweigles they produce a hotdog called a white hot or pork hot, they are really delicious. anyways Zweigles are pretty much a regional company and im wondering if anyone else makes them or if anyone from different states has ever heard of them or tried them. i know people that moved to other areas have had people send them packages of white hots cause they couldnt find any.

I'm also originally from the Rochester area, and make certain every time I go home to visit that I stop out at least a couple times and have some white hots (to hell with the diet while you're on vacation, right? :laugh: ).

NYdeli (the link provided above) is good to order them thru, and I think there's 1 or 2 other places where you can order them. They're sent out overnight air, packed in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice (I had my folks send 'em out to me in California years ago, when I was stationed there). Just make sure you'll have someone home that day to accept the package, cuz otherwise you might just have provided the UPS/Fedex guys with a free picnic treat!! :shocked:

Actually, as much as I used to poopoo hotdogs..

They aren't mystery meat. At least according to the show on hotdogs I saw on TLC or whatever.

Turkey hot dogs were pretty tasty - I don't know if they still make them.
