ever since I got the ati 9700 pro my menus are all black!!

My toolbar, taskbar and right-click menus will turn black everyonce in a while and not really remedy themselves. Usually in IE it doesnt turn black but when I minimize IE and right click on the desktop, the menu is black and I cant see any options!! whats going on?

my guess is that it has to do with the drivers. Did you used to have a nvidia card?
couse if you did then the nvidia drivers can effect the ati cards drivers. EVEN if you uninstalled the nvidia drivers first. The best thing to do is to reformat your hard drive and start clean if ur switching from a nvidia card to radeon 9700 pro. If you didnt switch from an nvidia card i dont know what to tell ya.
