Man I love looking at threads like that. Did anybody see the linked 10s street-driven Dodge? The kinds of power you can pull out of a deisel is amazing.

Sequential setup?

its talked about later in that thread.

the guy who sells them described it as
"one big turbo pullsin and pushes are to the back BIG ASS turbo and then it goes into the engine"

they run 2 or so of those on that engine.

I wish I could show you my friend's 440 that he blew up in his dart. 8000 rpm in neutral. He was racing at the track and missed the shift and the auto went into neutral while he was flooring it (no neutral lock out). He blew the engine and went into the ditch at the side of the track. His car was fine but the 440 was history.

He showed it to me a week later. Huge holes in the block skirt area, oilpan looked like swisscheese, block was literally ripped in half, a piston wedged sideways in its bore, and conrod that was never seen again. :Q

He was actually laughing about it because the engine cost him only $200 (a used crappy engine with a big cam) and another one was being rebuilt just for him.

Did I mention he was a little nuts. 😛
