A group of friends and I, when we were kids, decided to sleep out on my friend's backyard patio, which didn't have a roof covering it. Unbeknownst to us, there was a meteor shower going on that night. So we were all in awe, with our eyes to the sky, watching the meteors appear and disappear in an instant, in seemingly random locations.
While looking for these things, I noticed a group of slow-moving lights, appearing to be in formation, moving from right to left across the sky. They were very distant, and feint, and when I tried to point them out to my friends, they weren't able to locate what I was referring to. I saw no blinking lights, and don't recall hearing any jet noises.
I didn't give it much thought, until a couple years later, at that same friend's house, where I was at that night, had this Time Life Books collection "
Mysteries of the Unknown". It was in one of those volumes, about UFO's, that I saw a photo of exactly what I saw that night.
So for me, that's been my only UFO encounter that I can recall, but it was pretty interesting.
