I went to a restaurant today and the people next to us ate and just got up and left when the waiter wasn't around. Never paid.

I've never personally witnessed anyone dine and dash, but it does happen a lot.

I have seen it personally when I used to work in a restuarant. My buddy was the night manager and I was the cook. He came back and warned me 3 girls were acting funny in the dining room and he suspected they would walk the check. He told me to be ready since my Mustang was parked right out the back door and the restuarant was basically empty. Sure enough they ran, we went out the back door and the chase was on. They could not outrun my car and finally stopped. We got the cash for their dinner and him and I got dates with the 2 good looking ones.

Well, I've seen it twice already. One time, with an elderly couple at a Red Lobster. The waiter asked us where they went and we told them they left. He said apparently, he believed they do it all the time. This guy today (waiter) said he got written up for this incident today. Apparently, he's supposed to constantly on top of his table area and always around. He said he was a rookie with only 3 days on the job.

Actually it was a Candyapple Red 1966 Mustang Coupe that was my first car and this was about 23 years ago. Not supermodels just some cute chicks from a town across the river. It is a true story, I really don't care if you believe it or not.
