No way... is this actually in use by the force or is it one of their show parade cars? In either case, looks like a pretty wealthy community. There's a very well-to-do area of Dallas called Addison that uses Dodge Durango R/T10s. As a fleet.

Hazel Park is one of the dumpiest cities in SE Michigan. It has the lowest per capita income in Oakland county michigan, at $11,018. I'm pretty sure it was a drug bust.

You should check out some of the police in Japan. They tear around in Skylines. :)

Toledo has a Corvette in their fleet too. It was confiscated from a drug dealer and is used as an example to show drug dealers what'll happen to their cars if they get caught. I doubt the Lotus is actually used on duty as cruisers take a beating.

the police around here have several z28's they use... they even use some unmarkered z28's to run radar, which is really a bitch, becuase you never expect one of them to be a cop.

Wouldn't want to see that in my rear view :eek:

There are some localities around here that use confiscated drug cars (mostly Lexus and MB's) for the DARE (anti-drug) program. They are all loaded to look like cop cars, but I've never seen one in actual use.

On my way to and from school, along the Mass Pike and into upstate NY, I've seen Mustangs, Corvettes, and z-28s, all used as highway interceptors. Never on me, though.

here in seattle, i saw a rav4 being used by parking enforcement. one has to wonder why they need a rav4...
