Did you try a little foreplay with the penetrating oil first?

316SS studs with 316 insert nuts (kynar?) = no appreciable locking of the nuts from corrosion even in continuous salt spray, thank goodness!

When things get crusty from the salt on lesser hardware PB Blaster seems to work well on the most stubborn nuts. Rarely do I break a stud even when really pushing hard. :biggrin:

Interesting. I don't have good results with 316 and brine at my work place.
