I do say AFK on the phone at work pretty often, though. as in, "I'm going to be AFK, working on a server, so if you need anything, call me -- don't IM me."

I hate it when coworkers send me IM's about important stuff and get pissy after I don't respond when I'm at the other end of the building, at least a 5 minute walk away.
