Ever read "Steinbeck's of Mice and Men?"

I have to read it for english and haven't started. Right now I'm memorizing the vocab sheet she gave but want to know how you all liked it.

i liked it, in fact i went on from there and read just about everythign steinbeck did, he is one of my favorite authors

Its a pretty good book, even if you spend the whole time wanting to shoot George and his 'special' friend.

you can really finish the book in 4 hours. so turn off your computer and read it. the book was so so, don't like it.

Vocab list? When I was in high school we had common sense not vocab lists.

anywho, I thought it was good, did it Freshman year (and 7th grade, but this was at a diff skoo)

My schools drama dept. put it on a few years ago, and they really did a great job of it.

We get quizzed over the vocabulary so I just go ahead and learn it well so my teacher can't screw me over...

Thats what I'm thinking about doing. But I don't want to spend the rest of my day reading. I'll do atleast 2 hours tonight.

I dislike Steinbeck and all of his writing.

steinbeck is hit or miss:

of mice and men = good
grapes of wrath = great
cannery row = crap

It's an alright book, read it and see how you like it.
