No....... This is wrong. The Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew, and the New Testament was written in Hebrew and Greek. It was translated into Latin at a later date.

no the thing is that in that movie the arc was hidden away during the time of the crusades, hence the crusty old knight. At that time the bible was written in latin.

lol. i was foolin' around. i just wanted to throw that indiana jones reference in there. lol, of course im not going to rely on george lucas and speilberg for history facts. it may be true to a certain extent, but as mentioned, the bible has been translated and re-translated multiple times. just getting ready for the indiana jones dvd release next week.
