version of windows?

I find it funny, because when I go to school, some teachers have pc's and some don't. This one teacher of mine runs norton 2002 and is like a nut about keeping the virus definitions up to date, but when I asked him about windows update, he had a puzzled look on his face... come to find out 4 of his computers he's got had never had windows update run...

I mean, they aren't mission critical computers, but it's just funny how people can be so paranoid about one thing and not even know there's other stuff they have to do to keep it safe too...

i have my computer set to auto install updates... i hope it works okay. everytme i check windows update, it says i've got all the stuff, so i asssume it wokrs

I check for updates for like nearly all my software/hardware/os on a weekly basis....

I'm sure for the non-savvy users it could be pure hell, for me it's just a simple weekly routine...

I use linux on my server, but windows is just too nice looking to not use it

next time tell them its $50 and send them a "custom made CD."
